About the Event

Have you ever wondered what an heirloom tomato is and the difference vs a non-heirloom?  Our friend Jason Staley has a passion for growing heirloom tomatoes that started in the late 2000's.  Inspired by his parents rural background and family tradition in farming and ranching.  He and his three sons  collectively engage in a side business of raising and selling heirloom and open-pollinated tomato plants.  Jason is the heirloom guru and we are excited to have him share his knowledge with us!

Why Prune Tomatoes?  Lance Lawson will be joining us to answer this question.

Lance works for the company that produces the soils that we use at Garden Gateway.  Lance is part of Premier Tech's Grower Services and is resonsible for technical and product support of all PRO-MIX and PRO-MOSS products for the Western US and Western Canada.  He has a passion for pruning his tomatoes to increase his yield.
